A new fee has been added to many family law cases. Effective October 1, 2009, Oregon courts will charge a $10 fee for orders and judgments, including show cause orders. The fee is due at the time the order or judgment is submitted to the court for signature by a judge.

Sean Stephens is a founding member of Stephens Margolin P.C. He was born in Eugene, Oregon and is a fourth generation Oregonian.
Mr. Stephens attended the University of Oregon, and graduated in with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, with a minor in English Literature. His psychology studies emphasized early childhood development.
